We would like to introduce a case study of the "Cell Sorter SH800S" used at the Johns Hopkins University Department of Cell and Molecular Medicine. In research on the maturation of cardiomyocytes, it was necessary to demonstrate that the cultured cells were truly mature cells. Therefore, using this product, we sorted in vitro human and mouse cardiomyocytes on a plate based on the expression of GFP and RFP introduced into iPS cell lines, and compared them with in vivo adult cardiomyocytes. Various functional assays and genomic assays were conducted on these cells, demonstrating that they were equivalent to genuine mature cells. [Case Study of Cell Sorter Implementation] Doshisha Women's University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Medical Pharmacy

Used for the development of treatment methods for refractory cancer through the control of epithelial-mesenchymal transition and cell fate.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Cell Sorter SH800S" used by the Department of Pharmacy and Medical Pharmacy at Doshisha Women's University. In research on fat culture induction, it is used as a routine task to distinguish between epithelial cells and mesenchymal cells. It has also been confirmed that when rosiglitazone is added, there are changes in the activation of CD36 to determine whether fat culture induction has occurred in RSP. In order to establish target cell lines (cloning), you may have started single-cell sorting and re-culturing, but have you ever experienced the feeling of wanting to improve the "survival rate and recovery rate" a bit more? However, you might not know what conditions to consider to improve such culture results. It is believed that various factors are involved in the culture results of cells after single-cell sorting, including equipment settings, the cell culture environment before and after sorting, and the physiological state of the cells before sorting. Therefore, to truly succeed in single-cell sorting, there are two main approaches: "optimization of equipment settings" and "consideration of conditions on the sample side."
